Rules and dress regulations

The Belgian Amateur League rules apply. (WDC-rules)

Please take note of the following dress regulations:
For Start-to-dance and Pre-Amateur competitions, competition clothing is not allowed.
For Amateur (4 dance competition) competition clothing is allowed.
For Masterclass (5 dance competition) competition clothing is mandatory.
For Rising Star and Solo competitions, competition clothing is allowed.
One-dance Artistic Waltz rules:
Separations andside-by-side figures or similar are allowed.

General:
It is strictly prohibited to consume your own drinks in the hall. Drinks can be purchased at the bar.

We give you an indication of the start of the day and evening program below (based on previous competitions). Please note that changes are possible.
The full timetable will be published one week before the competition.

09:00 – Doors open
10:30 Start day session: preliminary rounds
19:00 Start evening session: finals masterclass

Tickets and starting fees

Competitors:
Starting fee 1st competition block: € 12,50 per person
Starting fee for every additional block: € 2,50 per person

The competitions are grouped into blocks, which are the following:
Couples Ballroom/Latin (1 block per age group/per level)
Couples Rising Star
Solo Latin
Solo Ballroom
Formation

E.g.:
You enroll for:
– Masterclass Open Ballroom & Masterclass Open Latin = € 12,5 per person
– Rising Star Salsa & Rising Star Bachata = + € 2,5 per person
– Solo Latin = + € 2,5 per person
– Solo Ballroom = + € 2,5 per person
Total: € 20 per person

You enroll for:
– Masterclass +50 Ballroom = € 12,5 per person
– Masterclass +40 Ballroom = + € 2,5 per person
Total: € 15 per person

You enroll for:
– Solo Latin = € 12,5
Total = € 12,5

Seating places for competitors and spectators
Seat at 1st ranked table: € 22,50
Seat at 2nd ranked table: € 17,50
If a competitors buys a seat, then the starting fee for the 1st competition block is included in the price of the seat.
Extra blocks will be charged on the day of the competition.
